Christianity knows 2 kinds of hells: The purgatory (a place of remorse, with a real chance to reach paradise :-D) and the hell itself (for the lost cases). In here Lucifer reigns with an iron and merciless hand ;-D. Commit sins and burn in hell for all eternity :-D. Of course, the Chinese have a much more complex and, as usual, a more sophisticated and bewildering hell (with chinese characteristics) to offer.

So, they came up with different hell stages for different sins...yo. Interesting pictures.
