I'm all for bike culture but I think that unless you really know how to ride them and know where you're riding fairly well fixed gear bikes are a pretty bad idea.

I agree Fredster, I love cycling but fixed gear bikes are not for me, it is fun enough dissecting this Chinese traffic, at speed, on a simple two wheeled hybrid. A bit cold at present but great never-the-less.

Agree. You've got to have a decent pair of wheels. Never a dull moment on the road in China. Halcyon days.
