Yellow alert for snowstorm in northern ChinaChina Environment

www.chinadaily.com.cnHeavy snow is expected to pound northern China Wednesday and the country's central weather bureau has issued a yellow alert, the China News Agency reported. The snow blitz may bring 10 to 20 millimeters of snow in Shaanxi, Shanxi, Henan, Anhui and Jiangsu provinces, the report said. Residents in southern Inner Mongolia, eastern Gansu, middle-east part of Ningxia, northern Shaanxi, southern Shanxi, Henan, southern Shandong, northern Anhui and Jiangsu provinces and regions will face a wintry onslaught(?) with 5 to 9 millimeters of snow forecast to fall on Wednesday, the National Meteorological Center of CMA said.
