The Bush administration has approved the export of sensitive equipment and expertise to China's military and police forces to bolster security at the Beijing Olympics. The support includes security and military equipment that is restricted for export under the Export Administration Act, prompting some critics of the policy to question its legality. The FBI and other U.S. security agencies also are helping China.

25 weeks 2 days 12 hours 7 min agoSelling security or military equipment and software can be an uphill struggle, but if you can present your kit as being 'battle tested' or 'used in xyz . . . ' this makes life so much easier for the salesmen/reps/marketing consultants/etc. To the manufacturers and middlemen it really doesn't matter where it goes or how it is used, the objective is to hit the sales targets. Mission Accomplished.
