But, wasn’t it the human irresponsilities that got dealt with by last year’s Copenhagen Summit? At times, ordinary Chinese people seem far more alarmed about the possible connection between one natural catastrophe and certain human attempt to exlpoit or to tame nature. When the drought first started, there were debates, mainly limited to the internet, as to whether it was intrigued by the Three Gorges Dam and Reservoir. One side of the debate holds that the purportedly water conservation project turns out to something that monstrously deprives more people and land of water.
