New media reports & surveillance video show that the young university student that was beaten to death first started attacking the 6 police officers. Chinese netizen were originally sympathetic and critical of the police but now many feel the student got what he deserved.

Hundreds of Chinese students clashed with police and overturned and burnt their car after street inspectors beat up a female student, a police officer and witnesses said on Thursday, the latest in a series of public disturbances.

Riots broke out recently in Southern China's Zhejiang province with students and citizens protesting the death of a local teacher. The teacher's death was labelled a suicide, but the protestors believe that it was foul play by her husband, and a police coverup to boot.
