Talking Your Way Out of a Visa Fine – China Rants
www.chengduliving.com — I learned the Chinese word for deport the other day. Contextually. As in, “You should be happy that we are only going to fine you 5,000 kuai, and not deport you.” That was what the uniformed man at the public security bureau said.

The title didn't match the story. Shouldn't it have been "Attempting to Talk Your Way Out of a Visa Fine"??? Also, when reading the part about the author starting to cry, I thought it was a girl. Come on and man up! Crying? Really? Grow a pair!
Read the comments on the post. The author addressed an identical comment. Thanks for commenting.
Thanks for the suggestion, the title of the article has been changed.
Yeah, the headline is a bit misleading. It was written by the administrator of that site, not me.
What do people find so incompatible about masculinity and crying? Crying is part of life, no need to stigmatize it with your macho platitudes.
Also, when punctuating quoted text, the punctuation goes within the quotation marks, thusly: "...Visa Fine???"
