Tibetan newspaper condemns secessionists' violent activities

Tibet Daily, a leading newspaper in the Tibet Autonomous Region, southwest China, has condemned the Dalai Lama and his supporters for their continued support of secession by violent means while waving the banner of "peace".

Secessionism is in the eye of the beholder. Are they fighting to split off or to regain their independence? The founders of the PRC did not hesitate to engage in violence in their effort to achieve their goals.
