13 weeks 3 days 20 hours 49 min agoI've seen the 2 pictures of the slanty eyed poses. I don't really think it's a big deal. The only people I think will really get offended are Chinese immigrants in non-slanty eyed countries and make up a minority. I am sure most Han Chinese in China don't realise that their eyes are slanty since they are the majority. It would be like a tribe of pigmy's walking around on stilts in London hoping to insult the unnecessarily tall people.

13 weeks 3 days 12 hours 17 min agoI agree - I showed my wife (Chinese) and she didn't get it. I think most Chinese tend to view their eyes as quite round compared to the "small eyes" of Koreans and Japanese... or so I've been told.
It's not to say that the Spanish team(s) shouldn't have been a bit more sensitive, but I think this is only really going to blow up as a "thing" outside of China.
