I had put the information in the FAQ, but who looks there, and it was broken regardless. So... here it is:

Not for the timid, this rather disturbing video is a tough watch even for those of us without a pet cat or dog. This video, put out by Peta, shows some rather inhumane conditions.

To be "fair", the conditions aren't much different than other animals being sent for slaughter in China or Western countries. Just tougher to watch when you're used to cats and dogs as your lap sitter or toe warmer.

if the analysts are right, everyone in China may have the Youtube plug pulled on Jan 31, and unlike the outage before, it may not come back until Youtube signs on with a state owned media group.

Technically not "China" related, but those kooky, health-conscious neighbors to the east make exercising just too much fun not too share.
