HR in China is always a challenge, and the last few years has brought an enormous amount of foreign talent to China, some good and some not.
In the wake of the recent product scandals and failed investments I am curious … are expats still in demand, or is a change coming? Are expats part of the problem, or are they needed more than ever?

8 weeks 4 days 7 hours 51 min agoWhat many foreign investors in China find out is that it is important to keep their expats in China. Those that don't, run into problems pretty quickly as communications break down and quality standards slip. Don't be penny wise and pound foolish.

8 weeks 3 days 19 hours 21 min agoWow, this is an oldie. I tend to agree though. Despite China's rapid development there is still a huge gulf in the way the West and China do business. Fine, if they are secular industries, but a problem when the two collide.
