Well, the redesign is done. Hopefully everything works. Let me know if you notice any problems.
I'm still working on a solution for the constant spam that gets on here. It's a tough battle, as HHR is set up only to allow users to submit (to help stop spam), and also has a captcha security feature to stop robots... but people are persistent. I'm pretty quick about cleaning it up, but if I'm taking too long - hit the contact button in the sidebar and let me know.
Anyway, also let me know what you think about the new design. It's the first time the whole design is (pretty much) my own. Pligg (HHR's backend) is a tough cookie to design, so I've avoided it until now.

I think the design looks alright - I like the lanterns especially. The gray and red colour scheme on the left, however, doesn't really appeal to me.

I didn't like it at first glance but it's distinctive and the more I look, the more I like it.

@Jeremy: I'll be honest, I hated the old design, much like I hate going to WP sites and seeing that stock default theme. It was functional, and changing it meant a lot of work, so I just didn't bother... however, I dig this one - not just because I made it, but because everything is where I want it.

Looks nicer, but less functional to me than the previous version (which was more spacious). That said, I can still find the functions.

More spacious? This version technically uses more page real-estate, as it has no page margins. The sidebar is smaller, but most of the functions aren't in the sidebar... the rest should be relatively where they were previously... submitting etc.
Let me know if anything is too hard to find, as I definitely want that to be as simple as possible.

Well... I knew at the outset that the hardcore users would feel a little tingle at the change, but hopefully I can get you guys to come around and see the light ;-) But honestly, if there's anything I should improve, I'm totally open to it.
Except the spam. It irritates me more than you guys, trust me. Pligg just doesn't have solid protection. I'm going to have to look at captcha's in the submission process, and I think that still might not cut it all out. Bah!
