We all know that China invented everything, right? The classical research about the origin of Chess concentrated on investigating written and archaeological evidence resulting in opinions about Indian, Persian, or Chinese origin of the game. Another idea, which was part of some theories, was the assumption that Chess, with all its present complexity, was invented by a single person.

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said Tuesday China and India were "co-operative partners," not "competitive opponents" as he sought to assure New Delhi of Beijing's co-operation to narrow the bilateral trade imbalance between the two Asian neighbors and economic giants, presently favoring China.
