The author James West only mentions the USA and China on that article. That is very short sighted. This is not 1939 anymore and the world is more complex now. A future conflict will arise to reset the world economy, that is quite sure in my opinion. But it will not only involve the USA and China. Of course not. The main theatre of war will be in SE Asia this time, not in Europe. Europe will support the USA if they like it or not. The sleeping world power Russia will be the unknown constant...

I like what he says here about WWIII "already being underway," the sorts of sentiments I was hearing back in the winter of 2008-9 as Israel began Operation Cast Lead. I'd even heard this mentioned as far back as the summer of '06 when Israel was engaged in its Second Lebanon War.
WWIII has commenced in a way that we've not seen in history before, and it will also be waged in a manner which we haven't seen as well, either.
