The Ageless Stars of Hong Kong Cinema – Hong Kong News
www.adamdanielmezei.com — Excerpt: In the script, set in the pre-Qing Dynasty Warring States Period in China and adapted — ironically enough — by director Jacob Cheung/Cheung Chi Leung from a Japanese manga comic strip by Ken’ici Sakemi, Lau plays Mozi warrior Ge Li, a freelance general-for-hire who is a member of this Jedi-like class of roaming fighters who live and die by a rigid honor code.

Excellent review.
The film was worth the 2 hours and then some (with commentary). Have you seen it?
An old film I have owned for years as an import rather than the newer DD release in the West, but a good one.
