China vs. Star Trek: Round 2 – Humour

A curious and humorous observation about the similarities of China's space program logo and two symbols from Star Trek. Like much of its space program, China's not boldly going anywhere others haven't gone before.

Follow Turner Sparks, an American expat living in Jiangsu, as he and his friend Jake trek the 1,000 km from Suzhou to Chengdu to aid in the earthquake relief efforts there. This is part one of a multi-part series.

Local media are getting their shorts all tied up in knots over what they call "West China's first six-star hotel," grandiose lodgings to be built in Chengdu by the Canadian five-star hotel and resort operator Fairmont Hotels & Resorts.
