One should be careful to equate fast growth, large numbers, and impressive actions with that of how China will overtake other first world nations in the near future. Strong growth now, does not mean it will continue to do so in the future.

A funny, and on-key letter that any expat in China can relate to. Going out to all family members back home who have yet to realize that living in China is a perfectly reasonably thing to do - and we don't have to "return to the real world" if we don't want to.

But I never expected that he can be so bad. He can be so ignorant of history that in a radio program, he cited China’s Cultural Revolution as an extreme case of democracy, while Cultural Revolution is in fact a good example of how dictatorship can destroy a whole country.

The former White House press secretary - and those of his ilk - should realize it’s high time to put down both the American flag and the nationism engendered by its overly enthusiastic wave. Pick up a Chinese flag, at least for examination, and understand that pride and prosperity of the 21st century will come from doing business with free-market communists.
