China: No Restrictions on Google Android if Laws Followed – Tech-Web

www.dmwmedia.com — Amid tensions between Google and China over the fallout from a hacking incident, China said on Wednesday that it would not place restrictions on the use of Google Android-powered cell phones, provided Google complies with all regulations, the Associated Press reported.

"As long as it fulfills Chinese laws and regulations and has good communication with telecom operators, I think its application should not have restrictions," Zhu Hongren, a spokeman for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said at a news briefing, according to AP.
