China has been trying to crack down on intellectual property violations for some time now. That being said, it seems that to the west (and not just America), China can never win. But can't we just applaud the government’s efforts?

Chinese companies are setting up shop in the U.S. because it is actually cheaper or almost cheaper to set up shop here. But the more the west goes to China and drives up costs (particularly raw materials and HR costs), the more that China might be tempted to bring more of that capital here.
