Man Mistreating Dog Sparks Cyber OutrageWeird China News

www.chinadaily.com.cnA photo of a man mistreating a dog that were uploaded on the Internet Thursday by a netizen surnamed Liu in Fuzhou sparked public outrage.

The photo showed a man riding a motorbike on a highway while he was dragging the dog behind him with an iron chain around the animal's neck.

"I rolled down my car window and asked the man to stop. However, the man speeded up and drove away," Liu told the Straits Newspaper, a metropolitan daily paper in the capital of East China's Fujian province.

I'll echo this sentiment. In all the time that I've been in China, when I see animals, other than family pets, I turn and go in a direction that will lead me far from and around the cages. I do not want to see the condition of the animals. And, there is absolutely nothing that can be done for them. Very sad, indeed.
