Netizens outraged at Hong Kong TV drama's negative depiction of pregnant mainlander

According to Xinhua, many Chinese netizens were infuriated by the way mainlanders were portrayed in the drama. Some have demanded an apology from TVB. Hong Kong netizens responded, "Even satire is not allowed? It is a reflection of reality. Apologise your ass!"

"Friendly Fire" Producer Man Wai Hung was blasé about the possibility of China banning the drama over the controversy, "I am from a Hong Kong broadcasting company. I want more freedom in my creativity."
