Despite it being in the guidelines, and being on the story submission page, users continue to break one of the longest-standing rules on Hao Hao Report -- not posting more than a single story from the same source in a 24-hour period.
The reason for the rule it to avoid users spamming the site with multiple posts from their Web site. This isn't to discourage members from using the Hao Hao Report to bring eyes to their articles -- that's one of the purposes of the site -- however, it does need to be moderated as it is an area ripe for abuse.
That said, the vast majority of members who break this rule aren't trying to be malicious or abuse the site. Most are quite apologetic when I send them one of my now infamous "Submission Guidelines Violation" PMs. And so I've known for quite a while that I needed to automate this check and just remove the subjective "human" element from it.
And so it is -- now if you attempt to submit two stories from the same source in a 24 hour period, your submission will not go through and you'll receive a warning message explaining why.
I've tested the code, and it seems to be working fine, but please let me know (either in comments below, or by contacting me) if you notice anything wonky.
