As the December 18 anniversary of 30 years of economic reform in China approaches, there is no better time to reflect back on changes in China’s media. Is Chairman Mao the Most Famous Man in Chinese History?

http://www.teachabroadchina.com

Understanding Internet Addiction in China

http://www.teachabroadchina.com

Months later, the problem of Internet addiction in China became a personal problem for me when my apartment was robbed. The police determined that the camera I lost (with 500 photos from a recent trip to Chengdu), as well as a computer and a Gerber knife had probably been pawned by local schoolboys to fund their Internet game addictions.

Shanghai Cost of Living

http://dkwan.com

"I just read a forum post where several expats in Shanghai were saying that 10,000 RMB per month is not enough for an expat to live here comfortably. That 10K RMB pay is on top of what’s typically included in an expat package (rent and flights home paid for, sometimes more).

So I did a bit of calculation of my own to see what my monthly cost of living is like. Here’s a breakdown."
