Riots broke out recently in Southern China's Zhejiang province with students and citizens protesting the death of a local teacher. The teacher's death was labelled a suicide, but the protestors believe that it was foul play by her husband, and a police coverup to boot.

"According to informed sources in Henan, there was a large-scale student riot late night on June 15th at the Shengda Institute of Business Management of the Zhengzhou University located in Xinzheng city.

At its worst, almost 10,000 people were rioting. The students destroyed the university facilities and then marched onto the streets to vandalize street lamps and telephone booths, and they looted banks, supermarkets and electronic stores.
