Hey all, just an announcement that Hao Hao Report has jumped on the Facebook bandwagon and now has its very own Facebook App.

The fairly straight-forward app simply displays the four top stories from the front page here at Hao Hao Report. Main links go directly to the original story's page, while a small link under the submissions description leads to the Hao Hao page for voting and commenting.

This is still very much in the testing phases, but as everyone LOVES to put "beta" after their Web projects (somewhat indefinitely, it seems), here ya are.

Well, the redesign is done. Hopefully everything works. Let me know if you notice any problems.

I'm still working on a solution for the constant spam that gets on here. It's a tough battle, as HHR is set up only to allow users to submit (to help stop spam), and also has a captcha security feature to stop robots... but people are persistent. I'm pretty quick about cleaning it up, but if I'm taking too long - hit the contact button in the sidebar and let me know.

Hi all, thanks to some user feedback, I've modified the HHR in two small ways. The first being that the HHR story titles now link directly to the original article. Complaints were that the article link was too small. This solves that.

The second is it now takes 5 votes to make it to the main page. As the site is now receiving more traffic (currently about 25,000 visitors a month) and we're nearing our 350th member, I've decided to up this as a way to help maintain the quality of the published stories.
