China worriers have more to stress about now as both the Former Israeli Minister of Justice Yossi Beilin and former Palestinian Minister of State Abdel Kader Hamed have asked the PRC to become more involved in helping end the troubles between the two camps.
ACB's post gives a good in depth summary of what this could mean to those involved, to America and to the world at large. It also does a good job of showing that though China might be a better alternative to the US as an impartial moderator, it may not be the best choice.
