The Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyer, "Sazanami", docked in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, today - marking the first time since World War II that a Japanese warship has visited China.

The ship brings with it aid from the Japanese Defense Ministry and Self Defense Forces to help in the on-going earthquake relief effort in Sichuan.
