For those of you who remember the story of Ms. Duo and her heroic activities , here is an update from Carol Wolfson of Shanghai Second Chance Animal Association.

As you can see, this situation is a mess and worst fears were confirmed as now the majority of the pets have died or "disappeared".

I ran across RedKemp’s blog noting about the LA Times article about the Chinese (wealthy 20 year olds) starting to keep crickets as pets and I couldn’t pass up the oddness of the article...
